Hi friends! Hope you had a great weekend! I have exciting news today! There are THREE Mister G and Me Giveaways happening this week!
Over at Julie Ann Art I am offering a $20 Etsy Shop Credit and Medium Ad space. Have you been to her blog? It's a daily read of mine! Her recipes, DIY tutorials, and style posts are my favorite. Julie Ann has a REALLY cute Etsy shop where she sells some of my favorite cards!
Scoot on over to Talk2TheTrees and you can enter to win another $20 Etsy Shop Credit and Medium Ad space. You will love Rachel's blog-- she is so creative!!! Her photography is amazing, her Etsy shop is beautiful, and her doggies are so adorable!
Last but not least, I'm offering a $15 Etsy Shop Credit and a Medium Ad space at After Nine To Five. Ashley, the author of After Nine To Five, writes about "a girl's journey through life with food, laughter, and self employment"-- a very inspiring and motivating read!
Scoot on over to these blogs and check it out!
And in other exciting Mister G and Me news.... I've received some feedback that you, my readers, want to know more about me... More than what project I'm working on or what's inspiring me at the moment. At first I made all sorts of excuses about why I shouldn't have personal posts on Mister G and Me. "It's a craft blog!" "I'm not exciting!" But one reader said that by withholding personal information on the blog it's hard for my readers to hear my "voice" and identify with me. I definitely don't want that! I plan to write a personal post once a week and give you a tiny glimpse of my life-- family, love, adventure. What do you think?
I suppose this weekend is a great place to start... John and I went to a craft show in Delray Beach on Saturday. I was so excited! Delray Beach is a cute little beach town about 45 minutes north of us. Just as we came off the freeway, dark clouds began to roll in and it started pouring! I had wanted to take lots of pictures (...and make John take lots of pictures of me). I forgot my camera bag and was too afraid to take my camera out in the rain. I had my waterproof point-and-shoot camera in my backseat beach bag, but it just doesn't compare to my very loved big camera.
My favorite vendor at the craft fair was FinchBerry, a small business that sells handmade soaps, lotions, and bath salts. The products were so beautiful and smelled great too!
After the rain stopped the sun came out and it was a beautiful day. John and I finished scoping out the craft fair and then walked along the main street. We tried on sunglasses, played with puppies, and grabbed lunch at one of our favorite Delray restaurants. The rest of the weekend included ice cream (x2), a trip to the drive in movie theater, beautiful roses, and an Oscar watching party.
What did you do this weekend?
xo,
Ashley
