Yesterday was a busy day-- but I made time to cross off a little something from my crafty to-do list.
Have you seen the painted bobby pins floating around online? You might recall that I am not very good at painting my nails. This project will give life new meaning to my four lonely colors of polish and one top coat.
First, pick out your colors and stick your bobby pins to a folded piece of parchment paper.

Wait a long time to make sure they are dry. I painted mine before work and removed them about 8 hours later. Gently scratch off the extra paint that might be hanging off the side of the pin.
Remember the beautiful lace flower hair pins from elisajoy.com/mclaughlindesigns? I think some colorful rosebuds would be so pretty on a light pink pin. As I cross "painted bobby pins" off the list, I immediately add "lace flower + painted bobby pin". That's what I love about crafting! There is always a project to be worked on, always inspiration to be found, always something new to create!
What is on your crafty to-do list?
