Real New York Engagement Photo Shoot in Central Park - New York Wedding Inspiration by Samantha Shay

I love this beautiful Engagement photo shoot in New York's Central Park by wedding photographer, Samantha Shay Photography. So beautifully romantic! Samantha shared their story with us,
"It was here, the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park, that Brandon got on one knee and proposed. The words he planned so meticulously were lost to him; you can never practice the real emotion that will wash over you when asking the woman you love to make you the happiest man forever. Christine didn’t expect to melt into a pile of tears either — but her emphatic “yes” was all Brandon needed. These two are so in love, so wonderfully concerned with the others comfort, safety, happiness — I know the world will be better because of their joining."

Thanks for sharing!

Such a Sweet New York Proposal Photo Shoot by New York Wedding Photographer Josh Wong Photographer

It's that time of year where there are so many great proposals to be shared. Here is a super sweet NYC wedding proposal by Josh Wong Photography.
Every year around Christmas time, Lauren and James like to come to New York City and take in the sights for the holidays. They enjoy visiting the Rockefeller Ice Rink, Radio City, FAO Schwartz, and they even ride in the Central Park horse carriages. This year, James had a little surprise in store for Lauren. Little did she know that James had contacted Josh Wong Photography earlier wanting to set up a shoot to document his marriage proposal to her at the Rockefeller Center Ice Rink. This time of year, there are huge crowds that want to go ice skating at the center but James had arranged to have everyone cleared off the ice rink when the clock struck 6:00pm. When the magic hour arrived, they had the entire rink all to themselves so he could propose to Lauren. What an amazing surprise!

Congratulations Lauren and James on your engagement!

Super Cute Real NYC Engagement shoot - "Pedro is moving in" by Ananda Lima Photography

When I saw this real New York wedding engagement shoot I thought, "How Cute?!!!" and what a great twist to the classic engagement shoot. The great photography is from New York photographer Ananda Lima. Below is Ky and Pedro's story.
A few weeks ago, Ananda went to Colorado to visit her brother, Pedro, and got to meet his then girlfriend, Kylene.

Ky and Pedro were about to move in together, so at some point Ananda casually said: "hey, why don't we do a moving in photoshoot, for kicks?". Unbeknownst to Ky, it was all part of a plan. Pedro was already planning to propose to her on her birthday (Dec. 2nd)... so the pictures (which she just got) were meant to be their engagement pictures!

I am happy to share that Pedro has just proposed to Kylene and she said "yes"!!!

Congratulations, Ky and Pedro!!!

Real New York Engagement Photo Shoot by Karly Zendejas

I wanted to share Jacqueline and Josh's love story with you! It's so sweet! And we are lucky that
Karly Zendejas Photography also shared the couple's engagement photo shoot to go along with their story.
It is often said that "love will find you when you least expect it."  Two people were living their lives on exact opposite coasts, until they met one fateful day.  They went to the same performing arts school, but Josh in Los Angeles and Jacqueline in New York City.  Due to a mutual friend, the two met while Josh was on tour for two weeks in New York.  The two hit it off instantly.  Josh took from it, a great experience with a great girl and knew she would be the girl for him. Jacqueline on the other hand, had taken Josh's heart and didn't even know it.  As Josh returned to California, they kept in touch over the next 9 months till Josh returned to New York to do an off broadway show.  From there it was happily ever after.  Their relationship was slightly common, until Josh moved back to California and joined the Marine Corps. This put huge stress on the relationship for months, so the night before Josh left for boot camp, Jacqueline was sure things were over for good.
Two weeks later, and for the next 2 months, she received a hand written love letter every day from him.  She knew then that their bond was unbreakable. After Josh graduated from boot camp, they spent time with his family in California, and then returned to New York for a week together.  Of course the whole time, Jacqueline was expecting for him to pop the question! She calculated every day if that day would be "the day."  Finally on his last night in town, Super Bowl Sunday to be exact, they spend the evening with a ton of friends enjoying the game.

She then realized, it wasn't going to happen.  That night, as they lay in bed watching tv, he rolled over and said. "I love you. And I want you to be my wife."  She replied, "I know, when the time is right, it will happen." "No, I want you to be my wife. Will you marry me?"  Laying face to face on their sides, she looked into his eyes for a second and then laughed, "Are you kidding?"  Straight faced, Josh assured her again, and she said, "YES!".  The next day, they headed to Tiffany & Co where they toasted champange and had the ring fitted.  To this day they are still amazed at their own story, and how love found THEM.
