Have you tried making Cake Pops yet? I am obsessed! I've made them twice. I could honestly eat them all day long. Bad news, waistline: I have plans to make them twice this month-- once for a practice run and then again for John's mom's birthday. Stay tuned! I have a great idea for a special shape :)
If you've ever made cake pops before, you know that sometimes you end up with a lot of extra candy chocolate left over! It's such a shame to throw it away! Guess what? You can use your left over candy chocolate to make cute chocolates using a candy mold! It's so easy to do. Just pour your melted candy chocolate into the mold, tap the bottom gently to pop any air bubbles, and then refrigerate until the chocolates are hard. Pop them out of the mold and share with your friends!
You can buy molds at Michaels or online, and I'm sure there are lots of stores I don't know about! Candy molds come in all sorts of shapes and designs. They also have lollypop molds to make chocolate lollypops! I made the roses with a Wilton candy mold from Michael's. The cute domino chocolate molds are from Fancy Flours. They have a great selection of cute molds including dog breeds!-- but not a Westie like Mister G.

Ashley
