My husband went in for neck surgery on Monday- so I wanted to start a quick, easy, and portable project to work on at the hospital. I am very distractible and need to really concentrate when I knit-- so I chose a simple, one-skein pattern that I could easily do amidst the bustle of a hospital. The pattern was for a winter headband and I found the perfect lonely skein in my stash.
The pattern said to knit for 6 inches, so I did. While simultaneously watching The Fighter with my recovering huz and knitting, I threw caution to the wind and thoughtlessly began binding off. Well, this devil-may-care attitude had consequences... Somewhere, somehow, I messed up and had no choice but to rip out all my work!
Last memories...
From whence it came...
